Genevieve Gary
Designer
Genevieve Gary joined Annum in 2024 and is currently working on a higher education renovation. Genevieve is particularly interested in civic and educational project types and creating resilient and sustainable architecture across a range of scales. In 2017, she travelled to Quito, Ecuador to present on incremental housing at the United Nations Habitat III Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development with MIT’s Special Interest Group in Urban Settlements. While working at KieranTimberlake, she was a member of the design team constructing NYU’s Paulson Center – a multi-story mixed use building in the heart of New York City.
Genevieve received her Master of Architecture from Cornell University’s School of Architecture, Art, and Planning, where she was awarded the Helen Fagan Tyler Graduate Fellowship and the RealWork Studio Prize. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Environmental Studies from Wellesley College. She has also spent time studying in Switzerland and Denmark, which furthered her interests in material life cycles and the adaptive reuse of buildings and infrastructure.
Genevieve enjoys drawing, writing, and spending time in both cities and nature.
