Penn GSE is LEED v4 Gold

Harvard Divinity School’s rejuvenated Swartz Hall is now LEED Platinum certified. Our design of this new campus gateway reflects HDS’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The existing granite building envelope is upgraded to exceed current efficiency standards using internal insulation, a seamless air barrier, and new high-performance windows. A new underground mechanical plant accommodates heat recovery and direct outside air handling units. Congratulations to HDS on their dedication to campus leadership in environmental sustainability.

Ann Beha Architects, now Annum Architects, celebrated the groundbreaking of the 107,000 SF new Dyson Center at Marist College, a reimagined home for the College’s School of Management and School of Social and Behavioral Sciences in Poughkeepsie, NY that will serve as a campus centerpiece.

Marist College President Kevin Weinman said at the event, “The new Dyson Center will be an inspiring place for teaching, learning, research, and collaboration. With its beautiful design, central location, and ample public space for socializing, group study, and individual work and reflection, students of all disciplines will benefit from this truly transformative facility. My sincerest thanks to Rob Dyson and everyone at the Dyson Foundation, Ann Beha, Marist’s Board of Trustees, and President Emeritus Dennis Murray for their work over many years to bring this vision to life.”

Progress is underway as we continue construction on the U.S Embassy in Athens, Greece for The U.S. Department of State. Our design for the rehabilitation and expansion of the embassy revitalizes the culturally significant chancery, designed by Walter Gropius in 1961, and increases connectivity within the complex of buildings and landscapes.
